Philanthropy is a core tenant of our mission.
Since our founding, Stonewall Sports Richmond has been committed to giving back to the community by supporting local LGBTQIA+ nonprofits that work with marginalized and underserved communities.
Since 2017, we have donated over $100,000 to various community organizations.
We are excited to welcome three local organizations as our 2026-27 season beneficiaries: TransJam RVA, Side By Side, and Virginia Pride. You can learn more about these organizations below!
Our previous beneficiaries include Health Brigade, He She Ze and We, Nationz Foundation, UGRC, the Virginia Anti-Violence Project, and Diversity Richmond.

Meet Our Beneficiaries:
TransJam RVA
TransJam RVA is a trans-led nonprofit that organizes community events, makers markets, workshops, and mutual aid initiatives that directly support LGBTQ+ individuals in Central Virginia. Their work creates opportunities for queer and trans artists, entrepreneurs, and community members to connect, access resources, and build chosen family.
Side by Side
Side by Side is Virginia's leading organization dedicated to supporting LGBTQ+ youth through peer support groups, affirming mental health services, housing assistance, and family support programs. They also partner with schools across the Commonwealth to help create safer, more inclusive environments for LGBTQ+ students.
Virginia Pride
Virginia Pride works to celebrate, support, and advocate for Virginia’s LGBTQIA+ community through year-round programs, education, outreach, and community events. Best known for organizing PrideFest and other visibility initiatives, the organization helps foster inclusion, connection, and equality for LGBTQIA+ individuals across the Commonwealth.
